A Trip Around the World

My whole life I’ve dreamed of a trip around the world 

The itinerary looked like

Dancing at  El Carnival in Brazil

Beat my chest with the gorillas in Uganda

I wanted to take the sled dogs out in Alaska

Watch the sumo wrestling in Japan

But now it’s not places I want to go

Now

I want to find where my voice went

I want to wash the stress away in the waterfalls

I want to stay up late with friends and not worry about tomorrow

I want to beat my chest with pride

I want to hike barefoot up the tallest mountain

Just to see if I can find myself

The only souvenir I want to bring back is peace of mind
